Who we are
An initiative born from a love for the Pantanal, turning solidarity into care for the people who call it home.

Águas Pantaneiras began with a clear purpose: to change lives in the heart of the Pantanal in Mato Grosso. Our mission is to bring drinking water, dignity and hope to riverside communities through sustainable solutions that support families, their health and the environment.
We believe small actions can bring great change. We install filters designed for local conditions to reduce iron and manganese in water. We also organise solidarity campaigns for Children’s Day, Easter and Christmas, reinforcing our commitment to the community.
The inspiration came from the filters created by Lorenzo Grunwald Guizardi’s grandfather. At 14, Lorenzo decided to adapt this solution for Cuiabá Mirim. Luiz Antônio Scheffer joined at 15, contributing to organisation, fundraising, partnerships and technological development.
The Pantanal is a natural paradise, but its communities face challenges such as isolation and limited access to drinking water. Our work helps reduce these barriers, providing tools and knowledge to help families build a fairer, more sustainable future.
Our next step is to fund implementation in Cuiabá Mirim. Projected daily capacity is 50,000 litres per system, with a planned reach of more than 120 families and 800 people, directly or indirectly. The estimated investment is BRL 188,484.44, with around 50 days from material purchase to assembly.
You can be part of this change. Share our work, follow @aguas_pantaneiras on Instagram, donate or support our cause. Spread the word among friends, family and colleagues. Contact us on +55 65 99631-9707. Together, we can bring more life to the Pantanal.
